Hagley Museum Soda House Wedding

Wilmington, Delaware

June 4, 2022

Caroline and Greg got married in a church ceremony followed by a reception at the Hagley Museum Soda House in Wilmington Delaware.

Caroline says: “Greg and I met in a creative writing class we had together in college. I was 19 and he was 21. He sat down next to me (later told me he wanted to sit next to the cutest girl in class 😅) and joined my discussion group. We then made plan to work on our papers together in the library and the rest is history!”

“What I loved most about my wedding were our wedding vows to each other. Saying them were so meaningful and when we were finally pronounced as husband and wife it was the best feeling ever! I also loved the speeches from my father, maid of honor Julia, and best man Jake. They were all from the heart and meant so much to me.”

“What I love about being married is getting to spend every day with my best friend and to get to continue to watch our relationship and love grow.”

Heather + Keith

Heather says, "We both grew up in Delaware.  We both attended St. Mark's High School.  We went to both of our proms together, junior and senior, however we attended as friends.  The summer after high school we started dating when Keith lived in Dewey Beach for the summer.  We enjoy Dewey Beach a lot.  Keith's family has a beach house there.

We both then attended University of Delaware where we got undergraduate degrees in finance and accounting.  After graduating we both started working full time and obtained various accounting licenses such as the CPA accreditation.  

We bought our house together in October of 2015 in Pike Creek.  We love going over to Delcastle Park.  Keith plays tennis and softball there.

We got engaged on October 2, 2017 while vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine.  We did a lot of hiking in Acadia National Park.  Keith proposed while we were on a trail called Ship Harbor Trail in the Park.  We were alone on a rocky beach and it was beautiful! I was very surprised! 

After the wedding we are going to go to New York for a mini-moon to celebrate and plan to go to Hawaii and California later in the year.

The past 11 years have been amazing and we can't wait to see what our future brings!"

Danielle + Mark

Sweet love. I loved photographing this beautiful couple!

Danielle and Mark were married yesterday on a perfect summer day full of sunshine, and lots of love at one of our hands down favorite  place for garden weddings, Winterthur Gardens. 

All week long Danielle and I studied the weather - and every other day it said RAIN!! How thrilled we were Saturday morning when the clouds parted and sunshine prevailed for the entire day! YAY!!! It was hot and humid but being outside at Winterthur is always a dream. What I loved most about this wedding was the groom did an internship and Winterthur and knows the grounds even better then I do! He chose all the areas for the photographs, which was such a joy!

Danielle and Mark's first date was at Winterthur so it's perfect closure to have their wedding here also. Congratulations to Danielle and Mark and their families.

Alexis + Chase

Alexis and Chase were married yesterday on a perfect summer day full of sunshine and lots of love and emotional moments, at one of our favorite gardens at Rockwood Park. The perfect first look surround by nature. Check out those dusty pink bridesmaids dresses, they get me every time. The lovely flowers are from Bloomsberry.  YAY!! We couldn't be more excited for these two! Give me all those magical moments.

We love every second of it of photographing these magical weddings.
